Production of Ethanol

Company MATYAS TRADE focuses mainly on the production and modification of spirits for industrial use, i.e. the production of specifically denatured or generally completely denatured spirits - according to the customer's request. All of this is in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Czech Republic and the EU.

The largest part of the production of ethanol is prepared from simple carbohydrates (sugars) by alcohol fermentation with the use of various types of yeasts. Sugar solutions and natural materials containing carbohydrates (e.g. corns, sugar beet, sugar cane, potatoes) are used for this process.

use:

The most common use of ethanol is the production of alcoholic beverages. Denatured alcohol is ethanol to which additives were added to prevent its drinking. It is sometimes even coloured. Denatured alcohol is used as a solvent, degreaser, for the manufacture of solvents and to dilute colours used for printing on packaging materials. Given the wide range of industrial use, hundreds of different additives and denaturing methods are used.
